GoW UE: Lieutenant Anya Stroud

After landed in Embry Square in the ruins the city of Ephyra and has Colonel Hoffman tells Lieutenant Minh Young Kim the COG's new plan to end this war. Private Marcus Fenix see Lieutenant Anya Stroud for the first time in four years.

Lieutenant Anya Stroud was a Gear officer in the Coalition of Ordered Governments army and the daughter of Major Helena Stroud. She joined the COG army to follow in her mother’s footsteps, but unlike her mother, she did not serve as a frontline Gear. Stroud instead became a communications officer and served in her mother's unit during the Pendulum Wars.

There she met Marcus Fenix and fell deeply in love with him and also became friends with Dominic Santiago. (I learned this from a Gears of War website.)
